Preparation for Discussion
We
will discuss the Political Element of Jonas’s community. In order to
prepare for the discussion, please do the following tasks:
- Mark every rule we have read in Chapters 1-3.
- How are rules changed in the community?
- What is the purpose of The Speakers? (Look at the times they have spoken: pages 2-3 and 28-29)
- Who are the leaders of the community and what do we know about them?
- What kinds of decisions or parts of life are controlled by the government in this community that are not controlled by the government in your community? Make a list.
