Mini Research Assignment
Purpose:
The purpose of this
assignment is for you to find information about a question that interests you.
This is important, because only when we teach ourselves to ask questions and be
interested can we really learn.
The second purpose is for you
to practice paraphrasing. Paraphrasing is taking information from a book or an
online source, reading that information, the putting the information in your
own words.
You must site your source.
This means that you must tell me what source you used to find your information.
The Assignment:
Below is the list of
questions we wrote in class about Ancient Civilizations. You may choose one of
these questions or you may choose a question of your own.
Research an answer using
information about one of the following ancient civilizations:

Write two paragraphs in
answer to your question. Be sure to tell me where you found your information!
