Imagine
a world like Jonas's in which there is no color, no smells, no physical or
emotional pain, no sensations of weather or climate...
Imagine
you meet a person from that world, and it is your job to describe an experience
from your world that will give him/her some idea of what your world is like.
What
experience would you choose? This must
be a single experience. It must be your
own experience. It must be less that ten
minutes long.
Come
to class prepared to explain the experience you would choose and why you would
choose it.
Why
would it be the best experience to give someone like Jonas an idea of all of
the sensations he has never felt?
